Apricot Cottage: Terms and Conditions Of Booking
This contract is between you
and Apricot Lodge for the provision of holiday accommodation. We reserve
the right to refuse any booking without giving a reason. Your statutory
rights are not affected by anything contained in these terms and
conditions.
Apricot Cottage
In the event that something
is not exactly as expected or missing then please let us know and we will
try and resolve it. Should you have cause to complain please let us know
as soon as possible. We will do our utmost to resolve the problem.
Check in is 4pm to 6.30pm on
the day of arrival.
Departure time is 10am on
the day of departure.
Payment
The Cottage will be booked
using a credit / debit card, no deposit will be taken, but full payment
will be expected on arrival either by cheque made payable to Mrs S Bilton
or cash.
Our Obligations
Damage and breakages arising
during your holiday must be notified to us. Any serious damage or breakage
will be charged at the cost of replacement.
You are responsible for the
insurance of your personal property whilst you are staying with us; please
ensure that you are adequately insured especially for valuables.
You are given a key for the
Cottage; it is your responsibility to keep the cottage safe and secure.
Right Of Entry
Should we need to go into
your cottage we will where possible arrange with you in advance but we
reserve the right to enter the cottage at reasonable times to check and
carry out essential maintenance.
Car Parking
Off road parking is
available on-site.
Cancellation
Sorry we are unable to refund
any deposits. In the unfortunate
situation where a booking has to be cancelled, 7 Days Cancellation
notice is required.
If the booking is
cancelled or curtailed for what ever reason without meeting the notice
period, then the full charge will be due.
All cancellations carry
a £5.00 administration charge.
Insurance
We recommend that you take
out insurance to protect you against any losses. We can arrange insurance
for you, details of which can be provided on request. If you wish to take
out insurance, you need to confirm this when booking and pay the relevant
fee. Any claim under the insurance must be notified to us as soon as
possible in writing; however, your rights under such insurance shall not
be against us, but the insurer.

Access Statement
Apricot Lodge has a paved entrance. The
front door step is approximately 15cm high.Private parking is via a gravel
drive at rear (no slope) with entrance at front of property (approximately
10 metres).
Doorways are 82cm. There is a ground floor
twin room walk in shower (step of approx. 20cm) with hand rail, and patio
door to garden/ drive (step of approx 20cm). Two doubles are on 1st floor
(8 steps, small landing, further 8 steps. Hand rails on both sides. Stairs
1 metre wide).
All rooms have touch on/off lights,
cordless kettles, mixer taps (lift to turn on) & t.v. remotes. Beds
are 3 ft high. Toilets are easy flush. Main doors have lever action
handles. Bedroom doors have Yale locks with handles that do not require
turning. Showers thermostatically controlled.
Hall, lounge & dining room are situated
on ground floor. Hall has hard surface, other rooms are carpeted.
Telephone in hall. Mobile phone reception good. Refrigerator in hall.
Town centre approx. half mile (tarmac
paths). Public Transport approx. 100 metres.
Help with luggage provided.
Loud, audible fire alarms, emergency
lighting, water extinguishers. Large main door (with emergency key).
We do our utmost to ensure all guests have
a comfortable stay and do our best to advise and cater for special
requirements. We ask that guests give us prior notice.
