Rooms

We have been awarded 5 Stars and a Silver Award for our accommodation by the English Tourism Council.

All our rooms are individually designed and decorated, with your comfort in mind. 

The luxury spacious bedrooms are beautifully appointed, they have lovely views and are all ensuite with baths and showers. They have colour televisions with 'freeview,' an alarm clock radio, hairdryer, thick fluffy towels,  comprehensive hospitality tray and complimentary toiletries. 

All rooms are fully double-glazed with central heating.

Breakfast is a 'deliciously Yorkshire' full English Traditional or Vegetarian, a Continental Breakfast or Whitby Kippers, all with cereals, fresh fruit juices, fresh fruit, Rosebud Preserves and Yorkshire Honey.  We use as many local ingredients as we can source - including local farm eggs and local sausages.  Locally made preserves and homemade preserves.

 Refreshments on arrival plus an encyclopedic knowledge of the area are part of our service.

 Free private Car Park.

For the comfort of all our guests we are completely no-smoking.

The Crocus Room - A spacious ground floor room (with twin handmade beds) with French windows opening into the garden.  Here we have a patio where you can sit outside and relax.  The bedroom has a large ensuite bathroom which is furnished to a very high standard. There is a bath, separate double shower, WC and washbasin. Price £70 per room per night for 2 sharing, including breakfast & refreshments on arrival .

The Country Room  - This beautiful bedroom  has a feature large arch window which overlooks the countryside in front of the house.  It has a hand made king size bed, solid oak furniture and a brand new ensuite bathroom with bath, shower, WC and washbasin. Price £80 per room per night for 2 sharing, including breakfast & refreshments on arrival.

The Cowslip Room  - This spacious bedroom  overlooks the garden and has a hand made king size bed and solid oak furniture.  The brand new individually designed en-suite bathroom has bath, shower, WC and washbasin.  Price £70 per room per night for 2 sharing, including breakfast & refreshments on arrival.

The Garden -  Do take time to sit and relax here.  There are a  number of fruit trees in the garden including apples, pears, cherries, plums and an apricot tree!

Dining Room - Our Dining Room looks out over the fields. Here we serve our 'Deliciously Yorkshire' breakfast from a varied menu using local produce. We are happy to cater for vegetarians.

Guest Lounge - At the front of the house we have a very comfortable lounge for our guests to use during their stay.  It has a TV and DVD player, plus a small library of books. Here you can relax and read or plan the next days' activities!
